It introduces 33 specific data points with the objective of improving transparency regarding funding sources and outcomes.
Key Metrics:
- Climate transformation: Identifying the theory of change, systemic transition or transformation that is intended by the project.
- Paris Agreement: Assessing how the project aligns with the country’s Paris Agreement commitments.
- Climate finance decision making: Assessing the instances of decision-making and who approved the climate finance investment in the country.
- Carbon efficiency: Identifying emissions the cost per ton of carbon dioxide equivalent reduction attributed to the project.
- Terms of climate funding: Ensuring visibility of the terms under which the climate funds are allocated.
This module establishes infrastructure as a key driver of climate action, ensuring that investments are aligned with global sustainability goals, including the Paris Agreement.
