Hybrid seminar: Opening up climate finance to public scrutiny

CoST – the Infrastructure Transparency Initiative would like to invite you to attend our Hybrid OGP Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting Side Event on 4 February 2025 at Gallery II, Grand Hyatt Manila, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig from 14:00 to 16:00.

At this hybrid side event our speakers will share data publication standards and tools related to climate change to address the urgent need to improve the transparency, participation and accountability of climate finance.

With many governments planning considerable investments in climate-resilient, low-carbon infrastructure, the speakers from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and CoST will discuss sustainable tools and approaches that can help safeguard the integrity of investments.

CoST- the Infrastructure Transparency Initiative worked with the World Bank and GIZ to develop an open data extension of the Open Contracting for Infrastructure Data Standard (OC4IDS) that will open-up climate finance to public scrutiny. We also support the Global Partnership for Social Accountability (GPSA) efforts to promote ‘green accountability’.
