Today, Petter Matthews, Executive Director of CoST – The Infrastructure Transparency Initiative, is participating in a session on reforming infrastructure to meet global challenges. He will be highlighting lessons from our members’ work and impact, and key future trends. This event is taking place on Thursday 24th April from 1.45-2.45pm in Paris and online via the OECD website.
This session focuses on how countries are reforming how they select infrastructure projects to tackle challenges such as financial constraints and demographic changes. During this session, Petter will talk about how our members have used our core features to achieve change in transparency and accountability. Petter will highlight our members’ use of our tools and standards; these tools, standards and guidance notes can be used by non-members.
This conference’s theme is “Roadmap to 2050: Infrastructure for a Changing World,” focusing on how countries can improve the policy, regulatory and commercial environment to deliver sustainable, high-quality infrastructure.
Other speakers include the Deputy Head of the Infrastructure and Public Procurement Division at OECD alongside officials and advisors from the Bulgarian, Luxembourgish and Peruvian governments’ finance departments. CoST works in partnership with OECD to drive our mutual aim of enhancing infrastructure governance to improve sustainability, quality of life, and economies.
We would love to hear your thoughts on the session via our social media channels: LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter and Facebook.
