Cookie & Analytics Policy

This website uses a small, privacy-respecting analytics system to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. This page explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Your choice comes first

We do not collect any analytics data until you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Decline, or if your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal, no analytics data is collected at all.

What we measure

When you consent, we record anonymous events about how pages are used, such as: page views, searches, resource downloads, scroll depth, time spent reading, language switches, outbound link clicks, and basic page-performance metrics. We use this only in aggregate, to see which content is useful.

What we do NOT do

  • We do not store your IP address. It is converted to an irreversible hash with a secret salt and used only to estimate unique visits.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
  • We do not build advertising profiles or track you across other websites.
  • We do not collect names, emails, or any personal details through this analytics system.

How long we keep it

Individual event records are automatically deleted after 180 days. Only anonymous aggregate summaries are kept longer.

Changing your mind

You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser. The banner will appear again on your next visit so you can choose afresh.
