22nd May event – From data to impact: climate finance and sustainability standards driving open government

On Thursday 22nd May, CoST will be running an Open Government Partnership (OGP) Week online event, highlighting CoST’s new sustainability and climate finance data standards

This webinar will share learning about applying these standards at a national and sub-national level across the worldincluding hearing from those who are both CoST and OGP members on how they are using these standards to support open government through transparency in infrastructure.

The audience will also learn how CoST’s tools and standards can be widely used by interested governments, procuring entities and civil society including media. We will also discuss how the new data standards support OGP Week’s policy areas, such as fighting corruption, combating climate change, improving digital governance, and enhancing public participation.

Who is this event for? This event is recommended for people working in government, financial institutions and procuring entities who may be looking to use the modules, as well as media, activists and civil society who may want to advocate for the use of these modules in public infrastructure projects. There will be a Q&A following the presentations to ensure participants can ask questions about how they can apply use of the modules as well as share their own experience in data publication, climate finance, sustainability and transparency in infrastructure.
